How do swaps work?
If you're on Flex Access or Seasonal Pro, you can request one swap per billing cycle. No swaps are included in Destination Ready.
Additional swaps during a billing cycle can be requested at an additional charge by contacting us at support@goretexaccesswearservice.com.
Can I get more than one jacket at a time?
Yes, you can add a second jacket to your subscription:
- $15/week for Flex Access
- $10/week for Seasonal Pro Requests must be submitted before your next billing cycle.

What if I damage a jacket?
We cover normal wear-and-tear. We’ll repair or replace the jacket at no cost. If your jacket is damaged please contact support through your MyCloset page or by emailing us at support@goretexaccesswearservice.com.
What if the jacket doesn’t fit or meet my expectations?
If you are on Flex Access or Seasonal Pro, you can request an exchange within five (5) business days of receiving the jacket for issues related to fit or performance). Destination Ready users are not eligible for exchanges.
How are jackets cleaned and maintained?
All jackets undergo professional cleaning and performance inspection before re-circulation.
If I like a jacket can I buy it?
As of right now there is no ability to buy a jacket but that may change as the beta test progresses. If you are interested in buying a jacket, you are welcome to contact us.
Can I buy a jacket I love?
Not yet, but we are exploring this as a future feature.
How do I request a jacket swap?
If you choose to swap your jacket, please choose from our available options and submit your swap request through your account.
You may also periodically receive prompts from us to ask if you would like to swap your jacket.
If you choose to keep your current jacket no action is required.
Shipping, Returns & Late Policies
How long does shipping take?
Jackets are typically shipped within three (3) business days after your swap request is confirmed. Once shipped, your jacket should arrive within approximately five (5) business days. Occasionally, shipments may take longer due to unforeseen delays or service disruptions. If this occurs, we will promptly notify you via email and make sure your jacket reaches you as soon as possible.
When do I have to return the jacket?
- Destination Ready: Must be shipped back within 24 hours of your end date.
- Flex Access and Seasonal Pro:
- If pausing or cancelling: jackets must be returned either within 48 hours of the last day of your billing cycle
- If swapping: jackets must be returned within 5 business days of receiving your new jacket
What if I return the jacket late?
- Destination Ready: $50 per day late fee. After 7 days overdue, we reserve the right to charge the full retail value.
- Flex and Seasonal:
- Pause or Cancellations: Jackets must be returned by the end of your billing cycle for a pause or cancellation to take effect. If jackets are not returned on time, your membership or late fees will be applied automatically.
- Swaps: If your jacket is not returned within the 5 day period of receiving your new jacket you will be charged for both.
How do I return the jacket?
Use the prepaid label and original box. If you lost your label, request a new one from support.
Can I track my return?
Yes. You’ll receive a tracking number and confirmation once processed.
Payment & Billing
When am I billed for my subscription?
Plans are billed upfront based on your commitment:
- Destination Ready: Billed weekly at the start of your reservation
- Flex Access: Billed every 4 weeks in advance
- Seasonal Pro: Billed every 4 weeks as part of a 12-week commitment
Each billing period is prepaid and activates the benefits of your selected plan. You will not be charged again unless your plan renews.
Can I pause my plan?
You can pause your membership at any time before your next billing cycle begins on the platform. Jackets must be returned by the end of your current billing period in order to complete the pause.
While your subscription is paused, we will keep your profile safe, save your go-to jackets in your closet, and make sure you hold onto any referral rewards you’ve earned. When you’re ready to get back out there, your GORE-TEX AccessWear Service experience will be waiting for you. You can pick up right where you left off until the beta test ends.
Can I cancel my plan?
If you decide that the GORE-TEX AccessWear Service beta test isn’t the right fit for you, you can cancel your subscription at any time on the platform. Once cancelled, your profile, saved jackets, and any unused referral rewards will no longer be available.

Subscriber" or "member" refers to individuals enrolled in an active paid plan. "User" refers to anyone engaging with the platform, including those on the waitlist or browsing the site.
What is the GORE-TEX AccessWear Service?
GORE-TEX AccessWearService is a multi-brand membership that gives users access to premium GORE-TEX jackets based on their needs and outdoor activities, without the commitment of ownership.
What is the Beta Test?
This is an early-access version of the GORE-TEX AccessWear Service. While functionality is aimed to mirror the future full launch, users may experience limited jacket availability or changing features as we improve the service.
As a beta tester, you’re helping us shape the future of the GORE-TEX Access Wear Service. While the full service and the beta test share similar goals, there are some key differences to keep in mind:
Timeframe: The beta test will run for a minimum of four (4) months. All users will receive at least one (1) month of notice before the beta ends.
Product Availability: The selection and availability of jackets during the beta test may be more limited, as we continue to test inventory and gauge user preferences. If the service continues, there will be a broader selection of jackets and brands to choose from, with a focus on offering a wide variety of styles and sizes for different activities.
How much does it cost?
We offer three plan options:
- Destination Ready: $50/week, 1-week minimum
- Flex Access: $25/week, 1-month minimum
- Seasonal Pro: $12.50/week, 3-month minimum Billing is handled weekly and prepaid according to the plan commitment.
What’s included in my plan?
Each plan includes:
- One (1) premium GORE-TEX jacket at a time
- Full damage coverage
- Hassle-free care and maintenance
- Prepaid shipping to your destination and for returns (applies to all plans)
Swaps are available for Flex Access and Seasonal Pro plans at the end of each billing cycle. Destination Ready does not include swaps, but provides round-trip shipping for your selected access period.
Who is eligible to join?
Anyone 18 or older residing in the U.S. Spots may be limited during the beta.
How do I sign up?
